Los Angeles

Let's be honest....I have been completely MIA from my blog. I am back now and declaring publicly that I will no longer keep you in the dark. First things first, I left New York City after almost six years and very begrudgingly moved to Los Angeles. After landing in Los Angeles with my black wardrobe, love of my fifth-floor walk-up and my all-around rough New York sensibility, I am slowly adjusting to the LA lifestyle. The keyword here is slowly. LA is different than New York in basically EVERY way possible. The ocean and the vast array of never-ending taco trucks are what keeps me going through my New York withdrawals.  Nevertheless, I am approaching this unexpected and slightly bumpy life change as I do all of them...with open-mindedness (most days). So stay tuned as I pursue my career here in the city of angels.

The forever self proclaimed New Yorker

I am so happy to announce that I will be directing and producing alongside Kyla Zanardi, a short film written by Cooper S. Lawrence. Real F$&king Cruel is the story of a young actor and soon-to-be vigilante who takes revenge upon a villainous talent agent who is out to destroy him. We hope to film late Summer 2016 in Toronto Canada. Stay tuned for more updates!

I Meant To Tell You: A Monarch Moon Films

I was so honoured this past fall to play Ivy in the independent short I Meant To Tell You Directed By Bavlina Youri and Nicol Moeller and produced by Monarch Moon Films. I watched this film get written and was fortunate enough to be there throughout the development and to watch this project grow. We shot the film near San Fransisco, in the Town Turlock. I just want to give a shout out to the town and the crew of the film, a truly generous group of people who came together to collaborate on a great project. And of course a big thank you to the ladies of Monarch Moon Films xox

The Living Room Series 2015

For the past few months I have been honored to be apart of this amazing team of kickass women. There are very few times as an artist where you truly feel like you are apart of something magical and special. This is the kind theater that you really should not miss. When the run is over I will update with a blog of the shows amazing journey but for now you simply have to trust me and come to DUMBO to get your mind blown with original works by Lucy Thurber, Pia Scala-Zankle and Lindsay Joy...oh and IT'S AT GLEASON'S BOXING GYM!

Write That Play

Last night was amazing! I was so lucky to have my first play as a writer finally make it way on stage at New York Theater Workshop. with Juggerknot Theater Company. I had an amazing experience this past summer writing this play under the mentorship of Webb Willcoxen and last night a group of talented artists brought "Expecting" to life. Thank you to all those involved, Courtney Wetzel, Regina Yaeger Drouse, Nicol Moeller, Alison Wonderful and Tanya Bravo for putting it all together.
